Provides individual, family and group treatment that is tailored to help the individual and medication prescribing services through a psychiatric nurse practitioner. Twenty-four hour crisis services are offered through the Mental health Clinic's hotline.
Individual adult treatment interventions are person-centered, evidence based and include a psychosocial assessment, urine drug screen, and collaboration with the treatment team to assess for appropriate level of care. The individual would need to show a dependency or abuse diagnosis with substances to be entered into treatment. Tobacco cessation is included in treatment intervention for substance abuse, but is not a stand-alone service.
Child-Adolescent of Alcoholic (COA) services are available to support children who have been negatively impacted by a substance abusing parent.
Family of Alcoholic-Co-dependency treatment is also offered for adults who have been negatively impacted by a substance abusing family member.
Group treatment includes psycho-education, relapse prevention, skill building, emotional regulation, smoking cessation, and anger management, as well as additional specialized recovery groups for adolescents, women and men.
Gambling treatment is a stand-alone service. The referred individual does not have to have a substance abuse addiction to enter gambling addiction treatment.
Crisis Services are provided through the Mental Health Clinic and Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown.
There is a two-week waiting list for non-crisis services.||Schoharie||CHEMICAL DEPENDENCIES CLINIC||SCHOHARIE COUNTY OFFICE OF COMMUNITY SERVICES |
