    Library ServicesChildren's Library Services include outreach with schools, TREK Backpack Nature Kit for Families, Preschool Story Times, Math Counts kits, and Music Kits. The Math Counts Kits promote math literacy skills among grade school children. Each kit focuses on a math concept, and includes stories, activities, and math manipulatives. The Music Kits allow families to create their own story-time at home with books, felt board stories, finger-plays, songs, music and action rhymes.     Library ServicesThe Schenectady County Public Library offers special programs to acquaint children with library services and encourage them to read.
