    Programs that provide emotional support, information and guidance in a variety of settings for individuals whose gender identity is not in harmony with their birth assignment, and who may have a desire to change their biological sexual characteristics to conform physically with their perception of self and want to explore their options including hormone replacement therapy, gender transition and/or reassignment through surgery.

    Counseling ServicesCenter Counseling Services are offered through a partnership between the Pride Center and the State University of New York at Albany School of Social Welfare program. Low or no fee counseling services are offered to address issues such as relationship and couple issues, family and parenting issues, healing trauma and abuse, sexual orientation and gender identity, depression and anxiety, addictions and recovery, and living with HIV and chronic illness.
