    Support ServicesThe In-Home Respite and Community Assistance Program is a short-term, intensive home and community based prevention service which offers a wide variety of supportive and skill building services to families where at least one child is at imminent risk of placement outside the home. Specially trained Clinical Case Managers are available to provide hands-on assistance to families six hours per week. This may include early morning hours to assist in the morning routine, afterschool hours, or evening hours to help with the bedtime routine. Services provided by the In-Home Respite & Community Assistance Program Clinical Case Managers include: therapeutic recreation; parenting skills training; developing a structured home environment; supporting or creating intervention plans. The goal of the program is to address the identified problems in the home that are related to the child’s risk of placement or that may be needed to reduce risk of psychiatric hospitalization/ re-hospitalization. Clients are seen at least once a week in their home.
