General Information
Description of ServiceThe Schoharie Free Library offers pre-school story times; book discussions for teens and adults; the New York State Summer Reading Program; family films; educational, recreational, and cultural programs for people of all ages; music kits for children ; and a meeting site for a homeschool group. Also available are public Internet and computer access and wireless Internet, online resources for use at library and home, homebound services for people who are disabled, large print and audiobooks, Visiting Kits for older adults to stimulate reminiscing and conversation, and genealogy and local history information about Schoharie and Schoharie County. There is a community meeting and tutoring space and tax forms can be obtained here.
