General Information
Description of ServiceThe Environmental Health unit is responsible for investigation of all domestic and wild animal bites for the prevention of rabies. Bite investigations include proper follow-up and quarantine and/or euthanasia of suspect animals to prevent the transmission of rabies to humans. The program also administers quarterly vaccination clinics for cats dogs and ferrets.
