This is a twelve-unit apartment complex for veterans in the Town of Wilton. Veterans and their families have been living in this housing since 1991. The program is named Curr-Ahee. This is an American Indian slogan meaning "we stand together." The slogan has been used by the 101st Airborne since World War II. The program is the first of its kind in the country. This program targets veterans and their families that are homeless, about to be homeless, or living in substandard shelters, at the time of making application to SCRPC for placement.
