General Information
Description of ServiceAgency provides the skills and processes that help people handle conflict in a constructive way. Through Albany County’s PINS Diversion Program, people aged 16 and 17 years old can have their cases referred to mediation. This is a voluntary, private and confidential process in which a trained, impartial and neutral party facilitates communication and assists to resolve differences between teens, parents and/or other parties without resorting to intervention by the Albany County Family Court or the Department of Probation.
