This is a 14-bed OASAS licensed intensive residential rehabilitation program which offers women the opportunity to learn the necessary skills to live independently without reliance on chemicals and other unhealthy coping mechanisms such as dysfunctional relationships. Women live in the Next Step residence for nine to fifteen months. During that time they receive individual, group, educational, family and vocational counseling. In addition to their on-going treatment for chemical dependence, the women become active participants in community 12-step groups that will ensure lifetime support. The program also offers a monthly family program and utilizes community resources to address various needs of women in recovery.
