General Information
Description of ServiceThe Boys and Girls Clubs of Albany provide a comprehensive after-school program which includes educational, recreational, and social activities for children ages four through eighteen. The programs are designed to be effective with children from all backgrounds with special concern for those from disadvantaged circumstances, and provide much-needed service in the community during the hours when parents are still at work and children would otherwise be unsupervised, and during the hours between 3:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. which are the hours when most juvenile delinquent acts occur.
