The Nutrition Outreach and Education Program (NOEP) is administered under contract with the New York State Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance. The fundamental goal of NOEP is to increase the availability and utilization of federal nutrition assistance programs as a means to ensure better nutrition and reduce the incidence of hunger for all New Yorkers. Hunger Solutions New York contracts with various community-based agencies who assist eligible individuals and households to access the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, formerly the Food Stamp Program; the Summer Food Service Program; and the School Breakfast Program.
