General Information
Description of ServiceProvides temporary financial assistance for people in emergency situations, which may include rent payment assistance. This program may be able to assist you if you are unable to work, cannot find a job, or your income does not meet your needs. Temporary Assistance may be able to pay for expenses such as food, clothing, rent/mortgage, heat and utilities.

An emergency requiring temporary shelter should be directed to the Columbia County Sheriff's Office.
