General Information
Description of ServiceThe purpose of the Agriculture/Horticulture program is to conduct local research and provide educational information that will allow commercial agricultural producers and homeowners to enhance the profitability of their businesses or quality of life while producing and marketing a food product to local consumers. Educational programs include farm business management, economic development, field crop production, land use issues, livestock production, marketing, including farmer's market development, water quality and conservation, nutrient management, agriculture workforce development commercial greenhouse, vegetable, turf and landscape production and management, consumer horticulture, and soil testing.
