General Information
Description of ServiceThe Stepping Stones is an Alternative to a Detention Program to reduce the County's need to place youth in detention or other out of home placements. Stepping Stones is designed to be an intensive 30-day service. Stepping Stones requires a partnership with the county, family court, educational systems, law enforcement, and other County-designated agencies/parties. The partnership between Berkshire's Family Specialist and the child and family is an effort to keep children safe at home while addressing their issues.
