General Information
Description of ProgramOffers a program for veterans and surviving spouses to defray costs of assisted living or supportive living services. Veterans and survivors who are eligible for a VA pension and require the aid and attendance of another person or are homebound, may be eligible for additional monetary payment. These benefits are paid in addition to monthly pension and they are not paid without eligibility to pension. Contact local Veterans Center for more information or check website.

Client Information
EligibilityMust be a war time veteran with an honorable discharge from military service with 90 days of active duty beginning or ending during a period of war. The war time veteran or surviving spouse must need the assistance with daily living activities. The applicant must have less than $80,000.00 in assets, excluding their home and vehicles.
